Brakes??
Hey guys. I have an 07 LT with 65k miles. I am getting steering wheel shake\wobble when I apply brake and loud roud noise at around 40mph. I am thinking tire rotation and brakes are needed. Tires Plus did the pads and rotors once. But that was about 25-30k miles ago. Thoughts?

It could be rotor thickness variation. The can wear uneven if the hub bearings get out .002. GM has a tab on this. It often shows up at 60k plus miles. Cutting the rotor will only fix it short term.
A lot of people like to blame things on a warped rotor when often it can be RTV or even embedded brake material in the rotor surface. A clean up cut will fix either but you need to bed the brakes in and check the bearing play or it will return.
The noise issue is what puzzles me. What kind of noise? If the noise is when the the brakes are off you could have a bad bearing and the related RTV. Cutting the rotors will work shor term and either the bearing will fail or you will get the pulse back.
Todays bearings are ball bearings for better MPG. They are not as good as a roller but they have less resistance. They are an issue on most new cars of all makes. The days where the old roller bearing lasting 200,000 miles are long gone.
The look in the photos is hard to tell but I do see a little glazing on the surface and that can cause the pulse too but seldom noise.
