Cabin Filter's HHR SS

Sorry I havent posted this up. I've replaced my cabin filter by going to Chevy but they cost $43 a piece... I think they sell filters online for much cheaper so do it that way.

How often do they recommend that those be replaced?

Hey Jeff......

I just installed a Fram Passenger Compartment Filter, that I found at WalMart.

It is baking soda AND charcoal impregnated. Costs $21.00 which is still higher than some of the aftermarket brands, but lower than the OEM. And if it matters, this thing is not the flimsy kind of stuff you find in the aftermarket.....IMO, It's better made than the OEM.

At least once a year. More often if you notice a reduction in air flow from the AC.

Sorry, Jeff.....

I discarded the box about a week ago. But I used the dedicated Fram filter finder catelog that was attached to the WalMart shelf to identify the correct number.

If I get a chance later, I'll pull the filter from my car and see what the number is.

Autozone has STP CAF1797 for $14.99.

Man I can't believe the crap that was in mine. I only have it just over a year and 5K on my SS and all kinds of dust and seeds.
