Key fob battery low message

Was anyone able to clear the key fob batter low message off the dash by any chance? I had this issue after buying replacement key fob after advised to do so when I found that the board in mine was fried. Dealership tells me that “this car should NOT be reading that warning on the dash”

You need to get a Genuine GM fob circuit board (less than $20 on eBay). The Dorman programmer will work with it. Many of the boards with a LED on them don't work correctly.
BTW, if "fried" means the battery cage became dislodged it can be re soldered; if it means the keys don't work you can get new key pad/case for about $5.00 on eBay, or put some tin foil under the key pad contacts.

I tried 3 Dorman fobs, and multiple new batteries, they all gave the low battery message. Then I got a GM fob and used the Dorman programmer with it.

No more low battery message, works great!

EDIT: I just realized I had already posted this information, in this very thread! So the question was answered before it was even asked.

Really ? Maybe you should find a new dealership. You didn't post any info about your car such as year or model, so I pulled this from my 2010 owners manual.
