Hi everyone, new member here, bought a used 2008 2LT in the Dark Gray (unsure if what the 'cool name' of the color is). Thanks to the owners and moderators for all the fine work they do, this forum has such a wealth of information. My question is: Is there a recommended torque setting for the filter cap? I have heard of two or three people cracking the cap because it's plastic. Seems to me there should be some sort of recommended torque that would be more defined than the usual "ok, that's snug, now I'll just give it a little bit more" method.

Thanks in advance,
Daryl

I'm not feeling too stupid , My thought was most importantly making sure it snaped to the engine correctly. ?
