This is why I love the Resolve. It leaves no "ring". I do however agree with cleannig the entire "panel" or seat because it sure as heck don't hurt to clean things up a bit more....

Why?

Because it's made to clean up the "mess" (animal accidents, kids accidents) and leave your fabric looking and smelling clean. Works excellent and with kids who spill milk, coke, juice etc. and pets (i have both) as well as the occasional grease monkey stains. Keeping a bottle in the car with "spot" rag will help keep things tidy or keep one in your "Car Care Kit" and touch the spots everytime you clean the interior. The longer the stain sits obviously the harder it is to get out but the Resolve is easy on the seats and carpets and will get it out of the fabric.
kids, animals in car;; milk, juice, cokes, put 'em all to the side of the road-- no more problem

How I clean seats in my HHR

I may have read it online but it is a old way to clean cloth seats. One cap of laundry detergent and 4 caps of water . Wet a soft cloth clean the whole seat cover panel or the whole seat. Rinse with clean water . You use a damp cloth so you don't soak the seat. If you try to clean a spot you just spread the water stain out further and further. Let it sun dry and it should look good as new. I have cleaned my seats a few times now from having a cold pop between my legs and it sweating on the seat causing the dirt to flow to the edge of the wetness.

I may have to pick up some of this resolve stuff. Ever since Tim hortons came out with taller slimmer cups that don't fit cup holders, morning coffee makes quite the mess.
