If you have a meter you can check the resistance value at the sensor then trace the wire back to the abs module to find your wiring problem. Check the new sensor first. It would not be the first time that a new part failed out of the box.

Here is a wiring diagram for the abs sensors

Thanks Lucky. A friend of mine has a meter and I will try and test by this weekend to see where the problem is at.

Axle Nut Torque

What is the axle nut torque setting? I think I remember 155 ft lbs. Is that right.

I had to go to Chevy for the axle nut. No parts stores could get them separate from the axle.

They don't list the nut by application. You need to get the specs and have them play in the nuts&bolts bins. I think I did actually find them on either Autozone or Advance website, when I was looking for them. But then I found that they came with the axles.

Jeff's out past Capital Circle on 27N (just past Sonic & Hardee's) is a good one. Known Jeff for a long time since he had his shop next to the motorcycle shop I had and he's always been fair and honest. Most of my work I do myself though since I know how and have the tools. As far as the nut goes, they can be gotten at O'Reilly's under the Dorman brand. Give me a PM when you come back Tally way and maybe we can get together. Thanks
