Greasing end links

Greasing end links
So I just got my new sway bar end links in the mail today. They are the Moog ones with the zerk fittings. The zerk came pre installed and had remnents of grease around them. Do they normally come pre greased? I attempted to add grease to them but the grease just immediately started coming out of the end of the gun as if the links were already full.... How exactly do you tell when they are full of grease? Only one of the joints actually took some grease, the other three accepted none. Help a young uneducated guy out!!
ALSO the joints are supposed to be STIFF right? They arent hard to move but incredibly resistant

Good and bad news. Good:I pulled the wheel off and guess what I found..... MOOG SWAY BAR LINKS WITH GREASE FITTINGS. I tested my luck and just re-greased the ones there, because my attempt at removing the nut was a completed failure, and I suspect whomever replace the originals used an impact driver. not even my two foot breaker bar could move the nut. I wasn't about to struggle with it in 100 degree (Fahrenheit of course) plus weather. about to make a run to the grocery store. Maybe greasing them helped!
Bad News; looked up at my strut assembly and the boot on the shock was completely loose, on both sides....I could just slide the boot up and down at will. I suspect bad shocks as well! Oh Chevy and your fun suspension issues! Oh well, my fault for not inspecting them last time the wheels were off.

They are tight then they are fine!
My plastic boots on the front struts don't stay up in the bearing plate when I jack up the front end either!
If the front struts are leaking fluid then it's time to replace them!
If the seal at the top of the strut is dry then just drive it and enjoy the ride!

PHEW I was actually a little concerned that they were "unstuck." so I am assuming the boot is properly seated with the car on the ground and the suspension has load on it? I had the infamous clunkity clunk and thought it was the links, after re-greasing them a quick trip to the grocery store over speed bumps and other things the clunk seems to be lessened if not gone. Coincidence? Who knows. Now what to do with these new links I have in my position _-_ ALSO no fluid leaking!
