Got mine from the motor book store on sept 13th (bought from them in the past). Scale of 1-10 --- the hhr manual is only 2 -3 , not that good. The pictures are all black and white and printed on low quality newspaper quality paper. The how do's in our forum is far better than what the book is. Want to change the Camshaft Positition Actuator Solenoids you can't beat the thd that Whopper posted, (example) Even the worst pictures the forum members post with the so called crappy cell phones are 100 times better than the ones in the book. Then on page 2B-6 of the book (for you that have it) there is a picture of not a HHR engine but a shot of an engine bay of a Toyota. It does list engine cel codes and what they are. Wiring diagrams aren't bad but some time back the forum had a link to a downloadable file (don't see that any more) and that is how I got my wiring charts a few yrs back. There are torque specs at the beginning of each section which covers some but not all. Value wise-- really expected a lot more and better info for $20.
It sure does have a nice looking cover to look at, that is the best pic in the whole book.

I do as well, it's what I expected from Haynes. I didn't pay a lot, so no complaints..

Lists the OBD II codes & what each is. Schematics are pretty detailed..

Lots of specs & pics.

Well. No luck from Lordco Autoparts......keep saying its backordered witch its not.

Please let all my fellow Canadian HHR owning brothers, that there is a Toronto based company that sells them.

Accent Technical Publications.

I just ordered one from them, it was 21.95 plus 7.95 shipping. Would be 25 bucks over the counter at Crappy tire, so not too much more....
Should arrive in a week.....fingers crossed...lol

Oh, and by the way. According to Haynes, this is a brand new publication, and they have tons of stock. Accent said that its not on the website yet. Call the 1800 number and do a phone order for now.

Okay......lol.
Now Lordco is p-ing me off....
The day after I get fed up and order one from Accent Tech, Lordco phones me and says my manual is in and ready for pickup.....grrrrr. After 3 phone tags and no call backs form Lordco plus weeks and weeks of waiting...they come through.
I can't cancel my phone order, so I have one on the way and no longer need the one from Lordco.
If anyone in the Vancouver area needs one, there is one up for grabs now.....
Send me a PM, and I will fill you in.

Does the manual get into areas like removing the rear hatch inside panel and/or door handle etc..
