Lake Chevy and My HHR

I dropped my 06 hhr off at this dealership to get the transmission siloinds changed, well they gave me a estimate for 987.00 said it was a one day job. Well its has been a Month today, they finally finished my tranny work 2 weeks ago..Then they call me say come get your car it runs great. I drive from Duluth MN to Devils lake ND 8 hours to get my car.. I get there and he says bad news your car wont start nor have power. I asked why he says your fuse block is out..I don't have a clue what it is I say ok fix it I guess I never had trouble with it before but what can I do. So he says ok im ordering the part it will take a week I say ok..I decided to stay at familys for a week a couple hours away he calls says your part is here you mise well start making you way here I say ok go two hours to there get there and again says bad news they shipped the wrong part..My patience is pushed until today he calls says come down the part will be here guess what the part didn't come..I don't know what to do Im not from here car started acting up on my way to my sisters wedding now im stuck dealing with this dealership that I have to clue, the total is up to 1600, includes parts labor and OVERNIGHT SHIPPING after they got the wrong part. Just venting not really sure what to do but today is a month it has been there.

Sounds like this deal has really snowballed on you, I'm going to PM Chevrolet's reps here with a link to this thread, plus you should give Chevy a call personally at 1-800-222-1020.

They might be able to have the Zone Representative lean on the dealer to expedite the repairs, etc.

I'm confused as hell.

No punctuation, no ending sentences, no paragraphs....I have a headache reading this.

Solenoids, transmission, no start and a fuse block, will take a week with OVER NIGHT shipping charges, wrong part, has the part the next day (?).

So what is the status of the car?

At this point, you need to sit down with DEALER MANAGEMENT and discuss this with them. You SHOULD be given some consideration.

Sorry about that Snoop, The status of the car is currently not starting, no power I guess, Because the fuse block is out. I have never had a problem with no power. It has been in there shop for a month with a one day repair which started with the transmission. The service guy says the tranny is fine now.

I will give Chevy a call in the morning to see if there is anything they can do.

The part was ordered, where they ordered the part sent the wrong part. Now they had to send it back and order the right part but I have to pay the overnight shipping charges.

I'm extremely sorry that you feel you are getting the run around. I want to jump on this situation right away. Could you please private message me your name, address, phone number, vehicle identification number, and current mileage? Also the name of the dealership that is working with your vehicle.

Thank you,

Jessica L.

i dont understand why you have to pay for half of this stuff anyway..you went in for one thing..then you leave with more problems, everytime you go back something else goes wrong and they order the wrong part - they should pick up the tab for that, not your fault..seems like a hack job x10 !

Sounds like a Volvo dealership I dealt with years ago. It kinda turned me off Volvo's forever.

I think when they were messing with the tranny they knocked the fuse box around, It is their problem, not yours.
