BetterBusinessBureau. Dealerships actually respond to them.
And, I'm still going with the "original" problem was a wiring issue, possibly the transmission connector, or the GPS/kill switch in the wiring. But, then I'm 2,000 miles away.

So today I went in there and laid my case down to the manager, about how we came from point A (solenoid change) to point B(TCM they think) He said they will have the TCM put in tonight and call me in the morning. IF it don't work they will take it out and try and figure out what else is wrong. Then he says we will sit down and talk about a fair price on all the work..granted ive already givin them 1000.00 but they want about 1200.00 more dollars

so another update guys, car is still in the shop. They put the new TCM in it did not work. They took it out put my old back in and said that it is the connector to the TCM. My car will now drive forward I guess but wont shift right. They had to order the connector part I guess. They said they have no timeframe which I dont know how long it takes to put on. They will put my old fuse block back on if they still have it! I hope they do cause that cost me 500 dollars. They think this was the problem all along, but now im out a remote car starter and my car alarm system that they pulled out and wont put back in. At this point I just want my car I guess

just to inject a tiny bit of fairness to the Dealer: The first line of almost every GM repair procedure is something like "check for after-market/owner installed equipment" and then goes on to saying things about it is impossible to diagnose with anything non-factory installed.
I am ABSOLUTELY not defending the dealer. It should have been dealt with better, maybe fourth hand communication is at fault. Lots of information can get lost in re telling.
