license plate bulbs

i know this has been brought up before on how to change them..but has anyone else experienced this?


manual says to unscrew the plastic fascia...i did that but its held on by some double sided tape and doesnt budge!
Suggestions??

im pulling and it doesnt want to come off, ive even tried a flat head screw driver and it feels like the plastic housing is just going to snap

Try working all the way around it little by little. If you have the screws out, it will come off. I remember mine was on there good also when I put the LED's in.

use the torx driver inside the housing holes! a little presure each side and it should pop off!

Yep, just takes a little convincing but it should pop off. I almost cracked mine when I swapped to a better LED a few weeks ago. They are really a PITA to get to.

Not 2 sided tape just a gasket. I pushed and twisted a bit and mine came off when I did my LEDs
