Right blinker is suddenly on crack....

I have a 2006 HHR and today the right blinker just started going at full speed whenever I use it. I need to bring it in for its regular maintenance anyways but I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and possibly knows what might be wrong.

Maybe a bulb has failed, and the blinker is flashing like mad as they do when the bulb goes. First thing I'd do is a walk around to see if there is a bulb out on that side, either front or rear.

I agree with what you said
Exactly!!...and I checked the bulb. It works, and it is blinking just as fast as the sound is blinking. So yeah....the right side is going:

blink.blink.blink!!!

and the left:

blink...blink...blink...

(oh and I am a *she*...hence the gay sounding name LOL)

Did you check both the front and rear bulbs?

Yes!! Ok those who mentioned the bulbs...you are right....I just checked and the front right blinker is out. I had no idea that's what it does to let me know. Ok thanks!
