Talking sometimes, you just have to listen to others

I was doing maintenance on the Panel today. Put her up on ramps to change the oil and inspect everything underneath. Thats the main reason for the ramps, I dont normally use ramps to change the oil.
I greased the Moog end links and the poly sway bar bushings. This is where I listened to you guys the first time. I couldnt get the grease gun hose onto the driver side zerk. Off to the parts store to get some 90 degree zerks. Great idea guys, much easier.

Next is where I listened to you guys for the second time. While she was on the ramps I remembered about the control arm bushing bolts having to be tightened very specifically. So I got out the torque wrench and tightened them to spec and then got out the breaker bar and cheater bar and tightened them another 180 degree.
I didnt think it would really make a difference but I could actually tell a difference in the handling on first drive.
I did rotate the tires and make sure all tire pressures were good but I always do that at oil changes. Never makes a difference like this.
So I guess there is something to be said for doing right...lol.

Thanks everyone for all of the great information I have gained from here.

Sometimes I read a post and go, WHAT? What I mean is, the car was on ramps for an oil change and you also rotated the tires? While it was on the ramps?

Seriously though, I would guess you backed it off the ramps to do the tires.

Actually, I guess I'm making fun of my own reading and comprehension.

Lol... yeah the tire rotation came after all the other work. Just part of my oil change routine.

I guess I should re-read to make sure I understand what I want to say is clear. It sounded right in my old brain.
