Honestly, I think you guys are getting way to worried about this.
That sucks. I don't really mind because I am afraid to work on my transmission anyways. That is the only part of a car I will not work on and will always take it to a professional.

I know this thread is very old but I have an issue with our 2007 HHR. It isn't going into overdrive and sounds like a dang twin engine plane. I pop it in neutral while going around 45 and the engine noise will idle down but the twin engine plane noise continues and the car is still not in overdrive. Is this a fluid issue or something I am missing?
