For reference, in the video I posted above, you can see the engine oil drain plug just to the right of the transmission level plug. Pretty much the same perspective as the drawing that donbrew just posted.

Yes... it is the transmission check plug, 11mm torqued to 9 foot pound. Close to the oil drain plug. I can't see what else that could be.
But wait a minute, I am gonna try to take picture. Who knows :
The little moisturized spots you see I did it with my own fingers when I unscrewed or screwed back the plug. It is not drops from the transmission pan. As you can see the area is still completely dried.

Trust issues or not; I would have to go back. You paid for product and service you didn't get. DexVI is not cheap. They should not have just added the amount the book says, that is why there is a level control port. It should be checked at over 104F and running to account for expansion.
