What is better Wix Oil filter or A/C Delco?

I've always stuck with AC/Delco products, even though I know that the suppliers have changed over the years. I haven't changed any filters on the HHR(only on day five of ownership), but I am looking forward to going into an auto parts store and not having to explain what a Corvair is!.....Mike

I use the Purolator Pure One in all my cars. Very good filtration efficiency.
AC Delco no longer makes oil filters, they just brand them. They don't all come from the same vendor. I wouldn't use a Fram spin-on filter on a bet. Cardboard end caps. Our filter, being just a cartridge, is probably a little harder for Fram to screw up, but the Purolator doesn't really cost any more.

Here is a link to "All about oil filters" The author justifies using car filters on motorcycles and rates the filters with detailed explanations. He seems to like Mobil 1, Bosch, Pure 1 and even has good things to say about Walmart's Supertech filters.
