What floor mats?

What floor mats do you suggest?

My used HHR came with carpet rugs for all four seating areas, but I fear over time, it'll get muddy. On my Honda Fit, I had rubber mats and I loved how easy to maintain they were. It was made by Honda, so it had the Fit logo and great fit. HHR, since it's discontinued, I haven't been able to find a first party vendor for rubber mats.

Any recommendations? (either rubber or cloth). I'll also be thankful for any advice on how you guys keep the carpet rugs clean. I don't mind keeping the carpet ones if I learn how to maintain them. Thanks.

I'm using the Husky Liners. Had them in my HHR for 3 years, Dodge truck for 15 years. And they cover the entire floor area. Not small like the OEM's.
I don't get any dirt or water on the carpet with these.

I'm cheap..I bought a set of generic deep well floor mat when I bought my 1992 Suzuki Sidekick, I used them for the seven years I had the car, then transferred them to my 1999 Buick Regal GS. After another seven years, I transferred them to the HHR and they have been in there for the past seven years. They were really handy when I was living in the snow belt for collecting the snow etc. Now in Florida, they collect the sand and are easy to clean.

I agree with firemangeorge, Husky liners just do not wear out. They were the first thing I bought for my HHR. A bit $$ but well worth it.

Some of those other floormats are really nice. My preferance for the Husky Liners is because they cover the entire floor area all they way up behind the pedals. Owners with a 5 speed know the clutch pedal hits the floor/carpet and can mark it or even rip the carpet.

I have used Husky liners in the past but after I switched to the WeatherTech I would never use anything else. WeatherTech gets my vote, hands down.
