Where did my light bulb go?

So I was changing out a rear turn signal bulb this morning and managed to drop the thing inside the housing cavity.
I have relatively small hands and still cannot manage to find it.
I opened up the spare tire compartment hoping to access the cavity that way but did not see a way in (although I did not remove the spare tire).
1) Where did the light bulb go?
2) And will it hurt anything if I cannot find it?

There are two places it can fall into and they are separate. Look in there, find both places and check them both. I have just been through all that. I dropped several items and retrieved all of them.

I like your Chevrolet script on the hood and in the rear of your HHR. Mind if I copy you?

As to where the bulb went, check out post #2 in this thread.

Can it hurt anything, nope, but it can rattle about back there. The last time I dropped one, my wife's flexible yardstick with a wad of double sided tape on the end came to the rescue. It was like fishing, but not nearly as fun.

OK, I'll say it. Another instance of a black hole found in an HHR.
Wait til you drop the serpentine belt tensioner bolt into the frame at 2:00 A.M. Sunday morning.
