Where to get HHR GM OEM suspension parts
Last time I bought my OEM coils and springs (and they are still great) I had to buy from two different web sites. Rock Auto who had the front OEM springs and rear coils that I got from GMPIECES and now I am seeign that more and more parts are DISCONTINUED. My HHR is only 70 000 miles and I want to be sure I will be able to replace my parts with OEM parts in the future. So this situation is worrying me.
Is there other websites where I can get these OEM parts and should I buy them now as a preventive measure before a complete stock shortage?
*RockAuto web site is currently down.

As OEM parts sell out they are discontinued.
It would be good if you bought any parts you want to keep on a shelve for a future repair.
Keep in mind Gm sourced those OEM parts from parts manufacturers and had them labeled GM with the GM part number.
now that the HHR is 10 years out of production, it will be the aftermarket parts that we’ll have to depend on.

I did it. But I am located in Canada and no results for me. I guess I will have to look on ebay from time to time and buy low mileage used OEM parts when I find them.
Or is there a brand that objectively reproduce to the spec the exact same OEM parts for the suspension? KYB or something?

Where in Canada, I’m in the Niagara region, I get my parts from RockAuto, and not just because they are a supporting vendor, but because they have a better selection of parts, better prices and even with the shipping they are less expensive then our Canadian sources.
I always check Canadian websites first , for some things I call my GM parts guys, I’ve dealt with for 40 + years.
for example, I bought the rear drum brake kit from RockAuto, the PowerStop kit, even with the $38.00 shipping it was $130.00 less then buying the parts up here, most parts sites didn’t list the PowerStop kit.

The key is to not wait until something breaks before you do your research. For example, I knew my shocks and struts were going to need replacing but were still ok, so I took awhile researching the various sources - RockAuto, Amazon, eBay, local parts stores and even Craigslist for the best prices and I made sure I replaced them before it got cold. It's especially important to do that if you're a DIY'er and live in a cold climate because it's a pain working on a car in the cold. My brakes are about at the end of the line and I have the parts priced out and once I see any consecutive days over 40 degrees, I'll order them.
RockAuto - Great and my go-to source, but shipping is kind of high if you need it right now, and they ding you for return shipping.
Amazon - Prices are a little higher super fast shipping and no-fuss return - nothing like dropping off auto parts at the local Kohls, lol.
eBay - Mixed bag but great for hard to find parts but shipping is slow!
Craiglist - Hit or Miss, with sometime sketchy people.
Local store - Obviously quick but usually much more expensive but I always ask for price match.
I also use car-part.com and LKQ for used parts.

car-part.com seems very interesting maybe I will take a look in the future.
On rock auto the moog coil springs (which looks the same as the ACDelco aftermarket) gives an alternate part numbers like this : Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 10376189, 10376190, 21994335, 22209788, 22209800, 22209885, 22227799, 22245035, 22245036, 22735534, 22735634, 25798126, 25833647
Mine is 22735636. I wonder if there are any other coil springs available brand new that could be exactly the same only difference being the part numbers. I indeed don't mind of its label, it can be labeled GM OEM or whatnot, if it's the same coil spring it's the same coil spring.
OldBlue you say that parts manufacturers produced the coild spring and they were relabeled GM OEM. The thing is I don't mind at all, I just want the same parts again.
