I reviewed that and think your right, the 2009 and up have different harness like the 2008 to 2010 SS . The internet, who knew , it can be wrong.

The is that it is a simple jumped the track problem originally. I don't know what wire might have been broken now.
if it is making a sound that means the switch is working and the motor is trying.

Windows aren’t computer controlled, so the BCM won’t need a reflash.
it’s most likely a broken wire, pins bent in the connector.

The "Master" switch feeds the other switched. When it was changed most likely a wire/connector was compromised. Like maybe the Master lock.

The pins looked good , I did check them after I put the Master Switch in,
But I could have missed something. Had same issue after trying the old master switch as well.
I told him to try and park in the sun at work today, Then try the windows in case any were froze shut !
He said he did hear a click of sorts when he hits the switch.
But even before the change of the Master Switch could not close passenger side rear window !
It goes to the garage tomorrow so his mechanic will check it out !

Steve I was wonder about the BCM and what it would have to do with the windows myself. Someone mentioned it on the FB HHR forum so had to ask !
Found some info on a google search and it did say a BCM may cause issues . But then again if it was from the web it has to be true lol
SO hopefully they can at least close that window.
So I should have some sort of update tomorrow and if it gets solved hopefully good info for someone else if ever needed

On FB all problems can be fixed by replacing or flashing a computer. My advice is to discard everything they say.
