wiper blade problem

I replaced OEM blades with Bosch ION blades. Passenger side blade works perfectly. Driver's side skips, chatters, squeaks, etc. I took the first ION blade back for a replacement and the new one does the same thing. The blade does not seem to "flip" as it changes direction. I see no adjustment on the arm, but if anyone has some suggestions I'd certainly appreciate hearing them. Advance Auto has been good about honoring the Bosch warranty, but I'm beginning to think it's an arm "geometry" issue.

I've been running Icon's on mine for well over a year. No problems at all with them.

Have you tried swapping the blades side for side?If you have, and the chatter moves to the other side,it's the blade. If not,it's something else.

Was everything fine before the change and just time for new blades ? Our blades are the originals and the driver side does the same chattering !

Never been a big fan of the Icon's. Maybe I got 2 bad sets for my wife's car... The first lasted about 3 months and the second only lasted 2 before they started skipping across the windshield. I swapped them out for some Trico NeoForms over a year ago and they're still working like new

Maybe one of the arms got bent? Mine are over a year old and the one's on my wifes MPV are over 2 years old. Other than the stocks on my HHR, they have out lasted every wiper I've used. Haven't tried the NeoForms though. Might look into them next time. Only downfall I have with the Icon's is price, but in return, mine have lasted.

Thats highly likely. The wipers she had on her car were the original ones that Mazda put on there back in '04

I haven't had a set of Icon's of anything I drive but I have had good luck with the NeoForms that have been on my truck since '07

Come to think of it mine has the arm in the location that will not allow it to be pulled away from the windshield as it hits the hood ! I recall closing the hood and the wiper binding under it at one time , DOH .....
