NEGATIVE! NAPA carries a standard rear wiper blade that fits! $18.00

Needed a rear. At Advance Auto Parts I found a Trico # 45-245 single insert @ $3.44 plus tax. Long enough to make two! Final cost = $1.72 ea.

Only tool needed is a sharp diagonal cutter to cut to length.

OK... so how does one separate the blade from that rubber cover/windfoil casing to be able to replace the wiper blade rubber only?
My '06 seems to have this type of wiper blade. How does one release the little clips holding the rubber blade to the casing?

The rubber cover seems to have a purpose, like a wind-foil/deflector. I would like to keep that cover on.

I usually replace the whole blade the first time with Federal Mogul ANCO AeroVantage wiper blades, then go for ANCO refills for subsequent blade replacement. They now make a new blade called Contour, but I haven't seen them in person yet.

Mr B got it figured out.
We both were looking for clips to release the blade.
He ended up using pliers and gave the blade a pull and it slid out of the rubber covered casing thing-a-ma-jig.....!

I checked every part store chain in a 20 mile radius of my house (including Advance) and the only place that even listed a rear blade was the dealer. $11 for the full blade assembly and they had to have it shipped from another dealer across town. Will be using refills from now on. Much easier after I figured out (thanks to this forum) that there is a cover at the bottom of the wiper blade that will allow it to swing out fully.

I modified the cover on my rear blade assy. so the arm swings out with it on.
Great for when washing the car and cleaning windows.
