Just checking in with all my fellow Mid Central HHR'ers! Hope that all had a safe and fun Labor Day weekend. We just put 1200 miles on our Lil' Red Devil! Took her to Minnesota for the holiday weekend! It's soooo much fun to see people look, then do a double take and look again. We stopped at a Culver's for a treat and were watching a couple of guys start getting into their car. They looked over and seen our baby sitting there and walked over to take a closer look! I just love it! Anyway, just wanted to say hi! See ya'll soon.

 

I ended up not making any one of the three cruises that I had scoped out, but I did get a lot of work done to the new house...Let's see landscape lights and more unpacking or cruise-ins...any guess at who decided my itinerary for the weekend ??? Oh well the lights do look pretty cool and now ai m assured the ability to go to a show next Sunday, just outside of Metamora, Illinois...Anyone else interested ??? The holiday was nice and we did get a bit more planning done for the Fall Run, an announcement is coming. I am also looking at a couple of locations for next year's Big Run and making contacts so again announcements will be coming. Hey let me know if you guys need any help with the Spring Run, I am really looking forward to it...Great to hear that you had a good road trip !!!

 

Thanks Roly It's fun to watch other people look at your ride, feels like your ride is from another world . Worked around the house also (painted garage) .

 

Must be that time of year!! I was supposed to take the chevelle to a car show in streator this sund. but ended up tearing off 150 years worth of siding from my new/old farm house!!! that was so much more fun than a car show NOT!! Boy i tell you those old square nails are a BiOOOOtch to get out!!!

Roly i love the looks and complements i get with the HHR!! its a blast the way some people rubber neck or double take when you go by!!

Exactly where and what time and are you just going to look or are you showing? Might be a nice Sunday drive!
