Snow sucks!! But............

I could get used to this FWD stuff! I've always have RWD or 4 WD vehicles, even the wife drives a RWD G35 so tonight when we HAD to go to a Christmas party in Chesterfield, I figured I'd better drive the HHR for safety sake, I would say to show it off, but who could see it in the blizzard!! Though it took about twice as long to make the trip, I was impressed by the HHRs handling and traction. A little slipping when leaving a stop light but on the highways it was great, cruisin about 40mph, which was much faster than most people. Maybe they ought to put plows on the front since the regular highway dept. trucks obviously couldn't get out!!

I took mine out in the snow yesterday as well. I was trying to slide around corners and found out the ESC works pretty good. The traction control, I'm not sure about. I can spin the wheels all I want and it just says 'limited traction'.

I prefer RWD in the snow so I can throttle out of slides. I hate driving FWDs in the snow. My HHR's ass seems to slide out on me more than any other FWD I have owned. Maybe because of the design of the body or something.

I do that in my saturn all the time and still get a kick out of it every time.Any one trying it for the first time do it in a parking lot.I can pin point a turn at 30 mph you don`t have to give it much to turn the car so go lightly.

And don`t try it in a car with a e-brake on the floor you will crash before you can pull the brake release.

My buddy John just suggested that to me. I'll have to give it a try.

I ended up not using the covers and the shipping would be cheaper for your location. Took 3 days for mine to arrive. The were out of the blizzacks and these are more aggressive. and you would need to remove them by the end of march.

My stock tires and wheels are the 16's The snows are 3/4" shorter on the circumference so there should not be much change in your speedometer.
