There has to be a reason... Maybe they don't want too many people? That doesn't really make sense though.... Who knows.

ztony8 i dont understand your coment about the sponsors. the had at least 30 sponsors for back to the bricks, and they all wanted you to come to their places and get together there and maybe spend some money there.also for any bodys information, there will be a dj at rockys tommarow night. probly around 6 pm.

the back to the bricks celebration was set up to compete with the dc. alot of people like the bttb beter becouse it is not so hectic.when you get 1-2 million people, and 35-40,000 vehiclesto one place for one day,it can get real bad! but it is fun regardless.

It seems like the best they could hope for is spillover from the Dream Cruise. It wouldn't seem likely that many people would go another 60 minutes north when there's so much activity going on down here,no matter how nice of an event it might be there-which would be a shame if the events up there are done as well or better than here. It's hard to outdo the "elephant in the room",so to speak, that the Woodward Cruise is.

Well, I actually think from news interviews with people and personal feelings, I think more people are coming up to Flint because like Harold Mallory said, it isn't so hectic. You can't hardly move in Detroit, and in Flint it's just a little bit slower paced. I don't know, but if you look at the increase in people and cars since it's first year, it's incredible.
