... A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM TO IMPACT THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES AND CENTRAL PLAINS TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
A VARIETY OF WINTRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK AS AN INTENSE SURFACE LOW RACES NORTHEAST INTO THE WESTERN GREAT LAKE REGION. DETAILS CONCERNING THE TRACK AND ASSOCIATED WEATHER WITH THIS DEVELOPING SYSTEM REMAIN UNCERTAIN. PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY TUESDAY EVENING AS A WINTRY MIX AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO ALL SNOW BY LATE WEDNESDAY AS A STRONG COLD FRONT BLASTS ACROSS THE AREA. THOUGH THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY... AT THIS TIME THE BEST CHANCES FOR ACCUMULATING SNOWS LOOK TO BE IN NORTHWEST INDIANA AND SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN WITH AREAS IN NORTHEAST INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO LIKELY RECEIVING MAINLY RAIN BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO A BRIEF PERIOD OF SNOW WEDNESDAY AS THE SYSTEM DEPARTS. IN NORTHEAST INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO... UP TO AN INCH OR MORE OF RAIN COULD FALL LEADING TO SOME RISES IN AREA RIVERS.
BEHIND THE FRONT ON WEDNESDAY... VERY WINDY CONDITIONS AND SHARPLY COLDER TEMPERATURES MAY LEAD TO A FLASH FREEZE WITH ICING OF SOME ROADWAYS POSSIBLE. WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY SCATTERED LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS DOWNWIND OF LAKE MICHIGAN WILL LIKELY LEAD TO BLOWING SNOW OVER FAR SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN INTO ADJACENT AREAS OF NORTHWEST INDIANA.

We got just a real light dusting this morning. Everyone forgot how to drive on it already also even with the light dusting. There were a bunch of accidents this morning from everyone trying to drive like idiots on it.

Nothing has transpired here yet other than a slight dusting. Looks like tomorrow is going to bring us mostly rain. May have dodged the bullet this time However, we did prepare and got the snow blower out and running.
