Why "Orange Crate"?

Why "orange crate"???
Well, it is orange and oranges come in crates and at one time nicknames for cars were crates, so..........Orange Crate.

I am also considering "Her Highness' Ride"

This car is a complete surprise to me from my darling hubby! He blew my mind when he called me and said he was buying me an HHR!

Needless to say he is in my book right now.

I pick it up from the dealer on Thursday afternoon. Too bad its going to be raining.

 

Soon to be another happy Orange HHr Owner!!!!

I am thrilled! I only got to drive it home and had just enough time to take a couple of pix and had to get it in the garage before the storms rolled in.

Dryden,MI (close to Lapeer). We should organize an "Official" Michigan HHR fall colour tour. Mild up north cruise / meet & greet, breakfast, scenery, lunch, scenery has been a big hit with my VW scene.

You'd have at least one driving up from St. Louis. That would be a really nice run in the fall.
