i was going southbound and a lady thought that she could go westbound from on drive way to another. when she pulled out i was right there. I was doing 30 mph and i had no way of trying to stop. I hit her doing every bit of that 30 mph. she was driving a 90 something ford taurus. i hit her twice the first one was on the pass. front wheel and the second one was when the car spun together and hit again behind the pass rear door. The hhr was able to be driven up on the truck, while her car had to be pulled up, her front wheel was at a 45 degree angle in the wheel well and about a 1/3 of the wheel was pushed way up in there. I walked away with a sore back and neck, but im doing pretty good right now with no pain and no stiffness, this is after 2 weeks of flexerille and a heat pad. for me to walk away not really hurt was a great thing so we bought an other HHR. Im am really glad my fiance wasnt in the car because she is 5 months pregnant. Oh the hell they would have gone through if she lost my baby.

 

jay glad to hear everything went well. Man your car was smashed up! Sounds like you got a great deal. Let me know when you can do a cruise, the wife and I are available most weekends.

 

The fiance and i work on weekends but we are off by 4pm or so, and she would want to get all cleaned up so 530-6pm any Saturday or Sunday would be easy to do. if this was to be something like a meet or what not i dont see why we couldnt take a saturday off and enjoy the whole day with fellow HHR owners. The more people the better. Let me know what you guys where thinking, and lets get the ball rolling.

 

Well lets try to set something up in mid march. Need to start a new thread to call out to owners in the greater cincinnati area. I will try to figure out a good spot to meet, maybe like watson brothers in blue ash I know they host some cruise ins once in a while. let me know what you think. By the way where did you end up getting the new ride?

I've been thinking of taking a roadtrip down to Cinci... got a buddy who plays guitar in a band called: "513" that plays around the greater Cinci & Ky area.
