Well I can tell you that I am NOT going to that... I go to the Back to the Bricks in Flint with my truck that weekend...

 

Could do a picnic at one of the Metro Parks, Stony Creek is nice with some good photo shoot locations, but you have to buy a day pass for entry.

There's a city park a few blocks from me that's free, with a couple pavillions.

There's also a few Gratiot cruises, and a Harper cruise in August.

 

I propose we do this instead of the Hillsdale BBQ. Better chance at more attendees. Anyone from that area willing to do the leg work?

 

Can do. What sort of preparations are required?

 

Basically setting up the location/ date/ time. We can start a seperate thread for it as well once we get a date set.

 

I'm game for the Woodward Cruise.I'm not stuck at work on that date this year.A picnic at a Metro Park would be nice.The different Metro Parks have different focuses.There's also a drive in at Ford Road and Wyoming on the Dearborn/Detroit border.

 

OK, I'll go out on a limb and say sometime in the spring/summer....

 

Well avoid Jun 12-14 and Aug 15th. How about mid-May or July?

 

Weather's a bit unpredictable in May, but July sounds good
