But it's my weekend off at Bronner's, and I don't see why I won't be able to make it!

Jeff, so what is the thought on this? We'll most likely come down but probably won't attend the model/toy show.

I understand this isn't everyone's cup of tea. Tony & I just want to get together with our HHR friends after the show for dinner, or just to hang out. Anyone is welcome to join us at the show though if interested.

Here is a comment from Tony in the other thread:

OK,I got the flyer here at work. The new location is the Sylvania Sports and Exposition Center at Tam-O-Shanter,7060 Sylvania Road,Sylvania,OH,43560.This location is about 8 miles north and west of the old location at the Lucas County Fairgrounds
So what time are we thinking for dinner? Anything else planned after that?

The NNL model show is listed as going from 2 to 8 p.m. but usually wraps up between 7 and 8 p.m. depending on how quickly the door prize callout takes to finish. The toy show runs until 4 p.m.
-md-HHR,the toy show is a swap meet for model cars and related items though there are other types of toys there too.Swap meet is a loose term-usually what is swapped is cash for items.I don't ever see much ONLY trading of items. The NNL(stands for Nameless National Luminaries-long story) style show is an exhibition style show, not a judged for trophies show.
I was thinking dinner after the NNL show.Or possibly late afternoon-@4:00/430.Any suggestions?Personally,I like to hang at the show and chat with my fellow modelers so later works for me but I can be somewhat flexible.
John Denver sang that the sidewalks in Toledo were "rolled up precisely at ten" so I don't know what evening activities there are in the area
