2010 HHR convert to SS front fascia

Since my wifes was a case of hit and run in the parking lot and now it needs a front fascia. How hard would it be to put on the SS front fascia instead of the stock base fascia??
Any input would be great!

Thanks

Nic

You mean if I got an entire SS fascia it will not fit or match up to the hood and fenders?

You can use just the SS bumper but the Stock Grille will look short. You cannot just do the SS Grille without either modifying the Stock bumper or going with an SS bumper. If you plan on doing both SS grille and bumper then you are fine.

My sister has a 2006LT that she converted to an SS look alike.

You need the SS grille, the SS bumper fascia with the SS fog lights (which are different than the LT fog lights), and the foam absorber. The hood and fenders are the same.

I was planning to change the grille as well to match, but not right away. I may have to give this a try.

I would love to see the pics and possibly a step by step how-to if you are up to it!! I love the look of the SS but couldnt see putting down 8-10 thous more for a work vehicle.

Actually there are a lot of little things that are different between the two. Rear of the grill they are the same, so no need for new fenders. The mounting brackets are different, and I believe the bumper absorber is different as well. Also, the fog lights are different and will require different pig tails for the new light bulbs. I almost did the swap myself when i T-boned a F-250. I stopped reseraching when i got to $500 additional cost because of price difference in parts.
