Added a few chrome goodies today

It is going to be 112 here today so I got up early and added a few things that came in the mail yesterday. I like my white HHR but I thought it needed something to breakup all the white running down the side. I like the painted door handles better then the chrome ones so I decided to go with the inserts behind the handles. The stock black antenna base needed something as well so on went the chrome cover.

I put the chrome antenne base on mine ,too. The look alot better than in the ad pictures. The chrome taillight rings are cool but are tough to position just right

Nice! You got the right touch....
Just don't over do it like the ricer gang.....you don't need chrome on every fender, hood, and trunk....

You have point Badassbowtie, You have to know when to say enough is enough. A few pieces here and there and call it done.

This is part of being an artist, knowing when to stop. The ricers and donks usually don't.

Well, you have a point. I think there has to be a balance between the two on any project. Over 30 years of riding motorcycles I had 7 show quality Gold wings and competed in many bike shows. Each Wing was different and the bikes I had that had more paint than chrome on them normally did better at shows.

Just need to be pre-fitted & marked for optimal orientation. But first I removed the 3M tape, fitted & marked them, then used silicone, that allowed them a much better fit.
