Thanks for the kind comments. Mr. Mom was what everyone started calling me, after my Great-Grand-Niece and her three daughters moved in from Italy for a couple of months. A one-year old, a five-year old and a nine-year old. I hauled them all over town (the mom had no car), was the babysitter, entertainer, bottle washer, and all round caretaker (I also doubled as an ATM machine). They were out visiting family as her husband relocated from Italy to Florida. They left two weeks ago and flew to Panama City, FL where her husband is undergoing deep water demolition training. They will be there for 7 months, the maybe to Pt. Magoo in California.

OK, I know it's been a long time in coming, but here is my finished (is anything ever finished) grill installed. I used a repo 1949 Suburban Chevy decal, made from Stainless Steel, and removed #2 and #4 cross bars. I may take it off and add a white mesh behind the grill to see that effect. Not sure yet, but that a fight for another day.

wow that white grill is awesome. looks like when you took the other bars out. you filled it in on those spots . looks alot better cuz that looks like it would be stock. but you should not go with the mesh. everyone does that . keep it clean looking

Well, I wasn't going to do it for aesthetics, rather, I was doing it for practicality. I didn't want anything large hitting my radiator. But you may be right, looks pretty good as is. Now on to the back and complete that mod. I got my Hurst shift ball in yesterday, but still waiting for the Hurst shifter handle to come in. Everything is progressing, that's all I can ask for.
