Great Job, I will be doing that to my Trans Am door guards. Also lighter fluid works well.

Debadging takes some elbow grease, but well worth it IMHO. Clean is better, again matter of opinion, but how many Chip Foose cars do you see with a bunch of stick on emblems? I even remove the decals and stick on emblems from my truck(s). Of course old cars like my Vette are bolt-on, but those emblems are somehow much more nicely integrated in the design anyway.

I'm not a big fan of de-badging this car. Ever see a de-badged Chevelle SS396? Ever want to? The white SS badges look great on my red wagon, the Turbocharged tag is cool, and the HHR tells people what it is. HHR is not a well known name amongst the general public, and will be even less so in a few years. I'll probably pull the chiclets, though.

Yep, I'm having the same debate. It doesn't help that, no matter how much I read about this, I'm still terrified I'm going to pull paint off.
