Front Bumper Lights

So, I tinted my rear bumper lights last night and I want to do the front bumper lights as well. Didn't have time last night to tackle the front ones.

Anyone have any tips on how to get them out? I know I have to pull the plastic in the wheel well back, which I started to do but couldn't figure out how to pull the plastic tabs (bolts, fasteners, whatever you call them). Typically these plastic pieces you can take a flat head and pop them up and they just slide out. But I attempted to do this last night and it didn't really move at all. Any one have any suggestions or tips to make this a little bit easier.

They certainly didn't make it easy on the HHR to get to headlights, bumper lights (other than the rear) and the reflectors...removing bumpers etc was not in my original plans, but will be tackling it anyway.

Thanks everyone for the help!

The front side markers should unscrew at the top and just lift out.. that's how its been for me.

My front side markers don't unscrew at the top, only my rear ones did. From what I have read they are clipped in from the back. I just have to get to the back and unclip it and they pop out.

My front amber ones don't have screws either, only the rear red ones.

Now that I look at it, I see the same. My brains tired. Only 3 hours sleep last night because of work.

No problem! I hear you on being tired...I've probably slept a total of 5 or 6 hours in the past 4 nights due to a nasty sinus infection.
