Gettin' better all the time Ben!

Don't count out something with the headlights Boydie, Ben is capable of doing something pretty neat with them.

Yes he has proven that. My idea would be headlights like the original '49/'50.

Saw an SSR SC today. Jet black and it looked good. Those sell for $20,000 to $25,000 and more. Out of my league right now.

Keep it up Ben, Looking good.

Nice job man, really diggin' the new roof/window line. It's looking pretty cool all around...can't wait to see what else you have planned.

For the rear doors, how about suicide? I have no idea if there is enough room with the short vertical on the back of the rear door, but that is my plan...eventually, probably one of the very last things I'll do. While I am somewhat mechanically inclined, I seriously lack any body work skill or experience. So, hopefully it can be done...maybe you can try it out and let me know huh?!

I think suicide doors would look sick on the HHR, and really throwback on your creation!

Looking sweet, you need some of them custom "IgotAwoody" springs.

Thanks Boydie, Mike, Slide_Rite, & Sam!

Slide_Rite, I plan on shaving the rear door handles, but the geometry of how everything functions for opening the rear doors hinge at the rear would be too much for me to tackle. I will essentially have the look without all the headaches

Sam,
My woody springs just fine...thank you very much! If you don't believe me just ask my wife! LOL
But seriously, does he have custom springs? I wanted to put some lowering springs on my ride eventually.

Don,
Thanks for pointing that out to me! Its good to know that lowering the ride can be accomplished through chopped stock SS springs without compromising ride and handling.

What makes the rear springs more difficult?

Cutting progressive rate springs can be fraught with difficulties Ben, here's a thread for you ....

Hope your "Honey Do" list allows you some tinkering time this weekend.
