Never saw the second show, but I always watched The Andy Griffith Show. And of course I appreciate the 55 Buick. You might find this hard to believe, but I kinda have a thing for old Buicks.

Another cool Buick Ben, this time a base model 1948. It's a Series 40 Special Sedanete, I love the factory two-tone paint job, it really "Pops".
And dig that wiper, a cast metal, chrome plated, piece of late Art-Deco industrial design....so cool!

That's a spectacular old Buick! And no they don't build em like that anymore! I actually have that hood ornament at home and have toyed around with the idea of using it on my ride. Some days I like it, but other days it seems like too much.
What do you guys think... Should I use the bomb site hood ornament?

Thanks for your vote Mike... I think I should be more worried about getting the body work done to a point that I can shoot it. Winter is rapidly approaching and this is my daily driver. I am considering trying plasti-dip to get me through the winter. I don't think getting the body work perfected is even remotely possible with the short Window I have left. Then I could peel it off and finish her up in the spring. What do you guys think? Do any of you have any experience with this stuff? Will it hold up to snow and salt and protect my ride?
