HHR - Buick Bijou Super Progress

Thank you Mike :)
And yes that is an exhaust outlet... Or at least the future home of one of the exhaust tips... I figured that you would like that. There is actually some foam back there that doesn't belong but there it must stay until I get the tips in. It is providing a little bit of extra strength until I can fiberglass the correct shape in place.

Gees Ben, 558 and counting. It's like you're the HHR Pied Piper. The place is transfixed. So where are we on this very interesting project? The middle? Towards the end? Have you finalized a color scheme? Any interior work? Finally, what material are you using to form the details and where/how does one get it? Sorry if these questions have been asked before. It would take an awfully long time to read the entire thread.

Any day that I can put any time at all in on this project is a good day Mike :)
11hhrlt, car design is a passion of mine, one which I would love to do as a career. Unfortunately, circumstances haven't allowed me to pursue that yet, but God willing someday I will :)
I find it extremely flattering that so many people have taken an interest in this project. And you are correct, I have covered all of the above questions earlier in this thread. Except for estimated time of completion... Since this is my first crack at actually making a full scale, three dimensional, and functional ride, I have no idea when I will be done. The vast majority of what I have done is designs on paper.
As for what I am using, it's all very common items... Great Stuff insulating foam, fiberglass batting, fiberglass resin, Bondo, primer, etc...
And if you go back just a few pages on this thread you will see some of the interior mods I have done.
Thanks for your interest in this project of mine :)

Good luck to you on the career. With all the attention your project is getting - and this being such an impressive first project - you'll no doubt reach your goal.
I fantasized a few times about designing cars. But I stink at body work. It definitely takes a certain talent. Plus the fumes gave me a headache. I hope you're making sure you're getting plenty of fresh air.
