In my neck of the woods, those were called "headlights". And in cold weather "headlights with French fries".

Now where were we? Oh yes, center caps.

Looks good, Ben. Very unique. Heck, that might be a good name for it...

Thanks 11hhrlt!

And LOL... In my neck of the woods they call them highbeams when it's cold!

And your name suggestion is getting warmer... The name that I picked out for this project shares the same country of origin

same country of origin ? you mean, Mexico, original build for the HHR or America for the original Buick or maybe the Detroit? or Michigan?

Unico.
"Highbeams", LOL! I like it. And for goodness sake, be careful! High beams can be dangerous, especially when they're pointing straight at you, in the nighttime.

Oops... Maybe I should have elaborated a bit more. The name that I have chosen for this Buick project is derived from the same language as 11hhrlt's name suggestion... French. Buick has quite a history of using French names for their cars.

We could have a "Guess The Name" contest Ben, it would be interesting to see how long it would take folks to figure it out.

But that's your call, I could shake loose a T-Shirt for the winning guess.

Actually, something French was my initial thought but switched gears after Blue's inquiry.

So, would you like to reveal the identity of your creation?
