I'll see your Super Duper, and raise you with an Astonishing and Inspiring Oldblue, both builds are examples of world class talent.

I still like the colour of Blue Bijou! After seeing Fireball 500 car cross the block at Barrett-Jackson I can see a lot of George Barris ingenuity going into the build and as for Lasiter's work I see more Lil John Buttera and Boyd Coddington
All the legends started out with a build using what ever they had around the shop and from ideas that somebody else had tried.
I think even Henry Ford applied a different twist to other's ideas.
It all depends on application of ideas and skill to make them work and look great!

Okay, it's been a long time since I posted any progress on the Bijou and this isn't much but it's something. I have my rear pillar tail lights and third brake light plus the chrome at the belt line, around window, and across the visor and rear spoiler. It will all be sacrificial but it will help me for dialing in the fiberglass.

Looking good my friend. Glad to see the weather has broken and you can work on the car again.
