I had stripes on my SS this past summer. I ended up peeling them off towards the end of summer because of the sun baking dead bugs and dirt into the vinyl and everything I tried to clean them with did not work. It sucked having to peel them cause I loved the look of them. If I ever decide to do racing stripes again, I will take it somewhere and have them painted on with lots of clear coat, lol.

I was toying with the idea of stripes for a while, but decided to paint the roof black instead (along with the rear valance). Yours came out nice.

Someone else with a red SS did stripes too...his idea was pretty much exactly what I had in mind, but I forget who that was.

I'm glad everyone is liking them. I understand all the benifits of paiting it, but I would rather start with something that can be removed if I dont like it.

Like the stripes. I'm toying around with doing a stripes down the middle, using 3M Di-Noc Black Carbon Fibre Vynil, with Charcoal pinstripes. Order some 3M Di-Noc today to redo my new "Moon" Designs logo, so I'll do a test section, to see how it looks. I want to keep it clean and low key. "Moon"
