New spoiler - not flat

New spoiler - not flat
I ordered a Spoiler - the flat version (not the hoop). I had a body shop install it - they can't get it to pull down flat. It has about a 1/2" gap in the middle and reduces to the edge.
Anyone have similar problems? Solutions?
TIA

I'll have to agree with A&P, I think they didn't locate the mounting holes correctly, its bowing up because its being squeezed in from the ends.
Take it back and use those two magic words....."Fix It!'.

Hard to tell from the pictures. It appears to be mounted a little too high. My washer squirter bottom edge is pretty close to even with the bottom edge of the spoiler.
Sorry I can get pictures of mine. I'm at work. Maybe tomorrow if you need some pictures for comparison.

I hate to say it, but they F*cked up.
Located the holes in your hatch in the Wrong location it sure looks like to me.
They may be able to elongate the holes drilled to get it to sit flush, but it's still a screwed up job.
Get them to Fix it and get your money back. Or better yet get your money Back, and take it elswhere.
I'd Fix it for ya for Free if your in the Chicago area.
I Hate shops that do sh*t work.

FiremanGeorge - photos would be great to compare.
If I can get photos, I can take it back on Thursday. The body shop knew I was going to do a post. They are scratching their heads looking for photos to show the "reveal" of space between spoiler & window. - That would indicate how much lower to bring it down.
I'm making an assumption that perhaps the spoiler sits down against the window squirter? It appears that there is about 1/2 space on mine.
To me the holes don't appear to be bowed - the edges are pretty close to the edge of lid, so I'm thinking that position is just too high??
The body shop remarked that I could have a bad GM part, as the curvature on the piece and on the lid look different to them.
So photos would be good
Thanks,
