People have, but they don't look like they should because a centered "dot" doesn't align properly with the bulb...... It doesn't glow purple like it should. (They are also not legal in all states)

Here is a link for the red tint by VHT. Its just like the nite shades, but red. I think it would be a quick, cheap way to achieve the all red tails that are being discussed here. Let me know what you think.
