I recently bought a 2008 ss and it has some road rash, I want to order a dr.colorchip kit but I don't know if the color of the car is blue flash or imperial blue. In the sun it has purple highlights and on the parts i.d. it says (waterbased 13 c) can anybody help

RTM!!!!! If you read your owners manual you will find information on how to determine your paint code. ie: on my car it is located on a label inside the glove box.

"Service Parts Identification Label
You will find this label on the inside of the glove box.
It is very helpful if you ever need to order parts.
On this label, you will find the following:
• VIN
• Model designation
• Paint information
• Production options and special equipment"

And if you use the SEARCH facility here, you will find numerous references to PAINT CODES that will be helpful.
