Paint Code?
Wondering if anyone knows what the paint code is for a sandstone metallic HHR? I see in my glove box it says Water based 32b, however I am being told this is a chevy code but not an HHR code.
Does anyone know what the WA code should be?

did you clink on the link above?
I use to sell auto body paint, supplies, tools etc. Even got to mix the paint and do custom matching etc.
We use to always shake our head one someone would come in say I need a name of a certain paint color, always had to have the paint code.
With a lot of the cars we had what was called paint variant chips.Depending on when and where the car was painted it could have up to about 12 very noticeable different shades of a given color.
I do not miss the days of matching paint I was taught by the best in our area.He was a master of it until he lost his confidence in doing it.

keep in mind.
your car in 2008. The paint on the body exposed to the influence of external factors. Rather, it slightly changed the color. In addition - as Mike said, the same code colors may vary depending on the year. The manufacturer is difficult to withstand the recipe.
Thus, the newly painted parts will have small differences. The average person probably will not notice the difference, but an expert can see it from afar.
When you're selling your car, there may be a problem. An experienced salesperson will tell - your car was in a strong accident, it should not cost so much.
You may want to think about the computer selection of enamel.
PS If this aspect of the problem is not important for America, sorry that I took the time.
