Painted wheel covers - Black

I wanted to see what the look of black wheels on my Imperial Blue would look like without actually having to purchase the wheels. Solution, paint the wheel covers. I had the paint (high performance wheel coating) left over from a previous project so I gave it a shot. Could have used another coat, but didn't turn out too bad. Now I need to decide if I get black wheels when I need new tires.

Looks good, and a cheap way to try on a new look.

Nice idea

Simple, cheap and dirty. Plus when the stock wheel covers get all that curb rash a quick paint job gives the vehicle a new look.

I like.

thanks. I neglected to mention that the wheel covers had quite a bit of curb rash from the car's rental fleet background. A bit of sanding before paint and all is good now. This is a somewhat temporary thing, I'll go with aluminum rims when it is time for new tires.

I would suggest you to remove these caps, and install chrome rings on the black rims.
