SS Tint/Wrap Question

SS Tint/Wrap Question
I was thinking how much I really wanted a Panel, but with kids and all, it was out of the question so...I was thinking about maybe wrapping all the rear glass in a Silver to match my car. Sort of a 'faux' Panel. I know it won't be fooling anybody, but I thought it might be an unusual and interesting choice. Anyone tried/seen something like this? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

You are never gonna completely match simply because of the dot-matrix that is required on window wraps, to have an unobstructed view out of the glass. You may get a better look by doing a silver tint instead.
I agaon don't know how well this will work considering the rear glass is tinted already. Silver tint on the outside, it might work

Thanks. I see a lot of cars here in LA using the dot matrix wraps and some look pretty good. I thought I might lucky with the silver color, since other colors might be harder to get in the ballpark. Maybe I'll try to find a shop here in LA and see if they have any suggestions. I just got the car, and some toolbox backed into me (hit and run) while I was getting a cup of coffee the other day, so I've got to deal with that first. New bumper, etc.:-(

NOTE to SINDY,.......do you remember him. He was a resident of California and I believe he worked in National Security. His HHR was the "gold" color, I think. He also installed 4 wheel disc brakes by installing a complete rear axle assembly from a Cobalt.
Maybe some of the "old timers" of this forum may remember.

To the OP, klunkerbill,......
Click the link and look for the 4:49 and the 5:00 marks on the video. You will see two displays of the window film application. The first has a bordering effect. The second had the complete "black out".
Hope it helps.
Thanks to oneton for finding this.
