Stock Emblem Replacement
Hey guys,
I recently debadged the tailgail of my LT and it looks great. With free time on my hands I've been removing the chrome plating from the plastic "HHR" and "LT" individual letters. I then sanded, primed, and painted them with chevy code black and they look great as well!
My question is does anybody have the stock placement measurements for placing them back on my car? Also, does anyone have any tips on how to keep the letters lined up successfully upon placement without losing the stick from 3M tape?
Thanks!

i would say 3M double sided tape would be your best bet. you could trace your letters and make the tape the perfect size if your patient enough. if you look hard enough you migh be able to see where your letters were. i removed my dealers badge and can still see it if i look hard enough.

3M does work good as I have used it before. No shadows on my 09 LS. I removed all the emblems the day after I purchased it in the summer of 2009. I like the clean look, the bow ties are the only emblems on my HHR.
