Tail Light Help
Looking at the IPCW led tails and need some help from you guys. I need a somewhat detailed pic of the taillight harness. I don't own an HHR but plan on swapping them into my car in the near future and want to see how the wiring looks.
Thanks for any help.

Well they are about a 20min job for both sides.
Once you remove the stock lights, you have this wiring. One is the top tail/blinker light, the other is the reverse light.
Then there is a little wire that goes from the top tail light to the bottom light, so you get the ring light around the reverse light.

So in the 1st picture there's the two light sockets, the led "adaptors" get plugged into those and lastly the wiring for the reverse light. When the lights are on all 4 light up, the blinkers only the top and then the reverse is the bottom correct?

So if I "jumped" the upper and lower tails- both would blink for a turn? Or.... they would both "fire" when? Sorry if this all seems basic, but I plan on swapping then onto my Vette ( to get rid of the seperate reverse light housing) and am just trying to get a heads up on what all I'm gonna have to modify.
Thanks

Im not sure if these lights would work for you. The hard part would be reshaping the angled light housings, as they are made to fit on the round corner of the HHR. Im guessing you would have to cut off the lens, a wedge from the middle and then secure the lens back on. Maybe a pic would help.
The red light has two circuits, one for running lamps and one for brake/turn signal.
The reverse light also has two circuits, one is for reverse. The other for running lamps is the wire that plugs into the other light.
So when running lamps are on, the outer rings on both lights are on. For turns/brakes the center of the red light is on.
Im not sure how the lights on the vette work, but if you have dual element rear bulbs the electrical connection should be doable, once you run a wire for the reverse lights. I assume the bulb socket may be different, so you would have to cut the terminal off and patch the wires together.
