There is someone local I see occasionally driving to work in the morning that has yellow headlights and fogs. It definatly stands out. But for regular output, you will loose distant lighting, but if that's not important in your case....

Got my yellow hids installed in my fog lights and it looks incredible! As for light output, of course it's more because they are 3k hids but for distance as soleman pointed out, you can plan to lose some with the yellow. Id stick with super whites for up top and run yellows down low...that's my plans.

Here's a quick pic I took with my iPhone...the light on the right was giving me fits this morning but now it's working like a champ and even seems brighter. Not sure if hids have a break in period? Oh well here it is...
